ISO audit week is never the most relaxing few days of the year.
It’s a time where everyone suddenly becomes very aware of how many folders, processes and systems exist across the business. Someone comes in and asks all the questions we think we’re ready for… and a few we hadn’t expected!
Thankfully, the team were prepared (as always). Following the audit, Elara has been recommended for continued certification across ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, covering quality management, environmental management and health & safety.
We love when people say nice things
The audit was carried out by Gary Allen at Spectra Safety, who shared some lovely feedback afterwards.
“Bev was brilliantly prepared and could cover all areas that I challenged during the audit,” he said. “Allan was a great help too… he really helped the audit run smoothly.”

More than anything, this result reflects the people behind the business. Audits like this only go well when teams know their roles, support each other and genuinely understand how things work, not just what’s written down somewhere.
It’s been a busy year for Elara with our rebrand, new uniforms, photoshoots and the launch of the new website, so this felt like a really positive moment for the team.
A well-earned result all round!
