As we continuously evaluate the way we operate, we are looking for new and innovative ways we can act more sustainably. From managing waste, to using more sustainable cleaning products, our team is committed to improving the impact our services have on the environment.
Reducing single-use plastics
Reducing single-use plastic is a key part of our sustainability plan and while it’s not always straightforward, we’re actively making changes where we can.
We’ve already made the switch to using condensed cleaning products, which are safer to transport, take up far less space and dramatically reduce waste. Just one litre of solution now produces up to 250 spray bottles, meaning fewer deliveries and less plastic.
Our domestic cleaning sister brand, PureMaison, are already using reusable mop heads, but transitioning that across to commercial sites is more complex. Many commercial mop heads include a large plastic part which makes them harder to reuse. We’re now working closely with our suppliers, and their manufacturers, to develop a version without that fixed plastic component, so that mop heads can be reused instead of thrown away.
These aren’t world-changing fixes on their own, but they’re meaningful steps in the right direction and we’re continuing to look for more.

Reducing our road miles
As part of our environmental promise, we limit travel by operating within a 60-minute radius of our Northwich headquarters. This helps reduce road time and lower our impact.
Not only that, but we’ve also revised our ordering regime with our suppliers so that our deliveries come to us monthly. Those fewer delivery runs mean fewer road miles, which in turn, helps us to reduce emissions in a way that doesn’t affect our clients.
Managing waste and prioritising recycling
A large part of our sustainability initiative is to monitor how waste is managed on-site.
At one of our client’s car showroom sites, we recently helped transition their waste system away from individual desk bins, to using recycling bins to separate plastics, glass and cardboard from any general waste.
This new centralised approach has now been rolled out across all of their locations, encouraging better recycling habits and less general waste overall.
Making an impact
These steps are part of our wider push to offer sustainable commercial cleaning services that genuinely reduce our environmental impact.
Whether it’s using sustainable cleaning products, cutting down on packaging, or helping clients to improve their own waste systems, our goal is simple: to make our services more responsible.
We’re proud of what’s been done so far and even more focused on what’s next.
