Elara first began with two friends who shared the same drive and vision. Today, the team has grown to over 100 locals from across the North West and North Wales. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, we support them and celebrate their growth and in turn they deliver consistently high standards.

Our Directors

Rebecca Tilling

Rebecca’s career has been driven by strong commercial instinct and natural leadership. From early days helping out in her family-run business, she went on to lead high-performing teams across a range of sectors spanning telecommunications, technology and retail before turning her focus to growing her own ventures.

In 2007, Rebecca teamed up with long-time friend Bev to create Elara, bringing together shared values around quality, people and long-term relationships.   

She brings energy, humour and a people-first spirit to everything she does, whether that’s supporting the Elara team, cheering on clients. She regularly takes on charity challenges, including cycling from London to Paris on a £99 eBay bike with barely enough gears – proving that determination (and a good sense of humour) can take you a long way.

Beverley Walsh

Bev started out on a Youth Training Scheme at BHS, where her determination and team-focused mindset quickly shone through. She went on to lead large regional teams at Bed & BathWorks before teaming up with Rebecca in 2007 to create Elara.

Alongside building one of the North West’s leading commercial cleaning and facilities businesses, Bev pours her energy into charity work.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, she’s thrown herself into countless fundraisers, including the adventure of a lifetime in 2025, when she successfully climbed Kilimanjaro.

That climb, fuelled by grit, humour, and a lot of determination, helped raise over £80,000 for Prevent Breast Cancer, a cause close to her heart. It’s this same caring, committed and always-up-for-a-challenge spirit that she brings to Elara every single day.

Leighanne Elliot

Field Supervisor

Leighanne began as a cleaner, quickly standing out for her focus and determination. It wasn’t long before she was leading teams across nine showrooms. Today, she supports multiple sites, heads up audits and still makes time to check in on staff and clients with genuine care.

Joanne Martin

Facilities Manager

Joanne joined Elara in February 2023, bringing with her years of experience running large teams as well as her trademark humour and drive. It’s up to Joanne and her team to make sure sites run like clockwork.

Donna Craven

Office Coordinator

Donna supports clients and colleagues alike, keeping everything ticking behind the scenes. Often the first voice people hear, Donna is known for her helpfulness, good humour and steady presence.

Allan Kayll

Equipment & Maintenance Specialist

Allan looks after the grounds, equipment, vehicles and property maintenance, while also coordinating day-to-day health and safety checks. Organised, approachable and hardworking, Allan helps keep everything running safely and smoothly.
